energy bars

how about eatin energy bars before working out cuz I have my last meal at 4pm and I usually start working out between 6 pm or 6 30 pm or what else u suggest
 
I sometimes make my own you can throw pretty much whatever you want in there and know that there is minimal rubbish in it.

There are plenty of recipes floating around here or just do your own thing with protein powder, honey, oats, peanut butter, milk, essences and a pan.
 
Thanks guys but there are min 2 to 2and half hours time period between my pre workout meal and my workout what u guys suggest me to do
