I know that running/exercise makes your body have better cholesterol levels ie lower LDL and higher HDL. But i wonder if the reverse might also have an effect on endurance levels. That is if i was to take something to lower my LDL levels and raise my HDL levels would I notice a result in my endurance? Even slight say 5% could alter a 2 mile run time from 18 minutes to 17.1 minutes. Significant might be 10% so 18 minute run time in 2 miles might become a 16.2 minutes run time.
Obviously there are other factors like red blood count etc... but if the blood can get to places it needs faster then the oxygen will also get there faster. Any possible merit to this? or is it just a bunch of conjecture? Critics pls be kind :0)
