encrypted email - which one is best

is there an email addy that encrypts to all other encypted addys. i used my ef address to send to cyber -rights addy, and it doesn't encrypt it ??

The best encryption is PGP, public key encryption. All these supposedly encrypted "secure" sites, with the possible exception of hushmail, are bullshit.

And if you wanna be anonymous, use an anonymous remailer. Google "anonymous remailers FAQ" and "encryption FAQ"

Go read some of the documentation on their sites. It will only be encrypted if you send to an e-mail address that is able to grab public keys and decrypt the message.

Peyomp is right, PGP is the best (it's what hush and the others use anyway) Installng PGP will allow you to generate your own key pairs and send encrypted e-mail to anyone (Even from a yahoo or aol account)... Although this will require the recipient to also have PGP installed so he may may exchange public keys, therefore allowing you to e-mail each other securely.

PGP is great but until everyone starts using it, it's worth is little. Most "secure" sites use the hush engine and will communicate between the two.

Mine's 22 with mixed case, numerals, and characters. If they really want to brute force my passphrase thereby confirming that hush is worthless, so be it.

Securenym.net hands down... But, until everybody else starts using it, the wafety factor is compromised between the servers....The reason I am saying this is ; Securenym cam BY NO MEANS get your passphrase. They have their ssystem set up, so it is completely anonymous. They get subpoena'd, most of the other email sites do as well. What they give over, who knows. Securenym however has nothing to give over
