EMPTY STOMACH supplements during dieting!

junk

New member
Mr. X and other nutritionaly, chemically knowledable bros, please give your insight.

For me, dieting has always been attacking two fronts:

1) Appetite supression and warding off the depression that comes from low serotonin and dopamine levels. I'm talking fighting carb cravings here.

2) Shedding as much fat as possible.

Besides dieting, weight training and occasional cardio, I'm using the following stuff successfuly. I've found them helpful through self trial and error and a lot of knowledge taken from here.

* Dostinex (Cabergoline) 0.5mg E3D
* 5-HTP (600mg) empty stomach
* 10g L-Tyrosine (5g at 06:00, 5g at 16:00) empty stomach
* 15g of Inositol
* 600-1200mg GlucorellR
* 6 caps of Liporexin empty stomach is better
* 10g AFSTORE ALCAR (5g x 2 times) empty stomach

I just got now:
* 200g of CLA empty stomach
* GLA fonz suggests empty stomach

Funny, but the only thing that really drives me crazy is this EMPTY STOMACH shit I have to deal with everyday. The supps mentioned (especially the Tyrosine and 5-HTP) will almost do nothing if taken with other aminos. And in my case, I can't over-emphesize how much the 5-HTP and Tyrosine are helping in my particular case. The Acetyl-L-Carnitine may also help.

I've used every bit of 'EMPTY STOMACH' times I have during the day and night. Suggested 'Empty Stomach' condition is 3 hours after last meal and 45min before next meal (total almost 4 hours without food!!!) This is VERY catabolic! And I'm probably loosing a lot of muscle due to very low to non-existent amino acids blood concentrations.

I'M LOST - WHAT SHOULD I DO ? IT'S A DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD:

1) I don't want to loose too much LBM - But I'm keeping a lot of 'empty stomach' sessions. Empty stomach too much = great muscle loss potential (especially for a hard gainer like me) Make the calculations how many seperate 'empty stomach' sessions I need to have and you'll find out I don't have enough for all the supps. I sure would prefer eating something (even just one-two egg white) every hour or so in order to keep my stomach and sanity. But can't.

2) I know Insulin may be benerifical for taking along L-Tryptophan and tyrosine and 5-HTP as means to rinse off smaller molecularly speaking aminos and drive these important aminos pass the blood-brain barrier. I'm already using a lot of GlucorellR for exactly the opposite purpose - DECREASING insulin. So doesn't make sense to take high GI carbs anytime during the day. Again double-edged sword.

Now WHEN THE HELL DO I HAVE TIME TO EAT?
Seems TOO MUCH EMPTY STOMACH SHIT FOR ME!

Thanks.

Damn and I thought I was up there in supplements. Bro, have you tried using these supplements separately to find out what definately works, and what doesn't - save some money. Also, if you don't mind me asking, why are you taking Cabergolide (to combat hyperprolactonemia? are you on a cycle?)?! It is extremly potent DA agonist and should be sufficient to ward off any hunger/ depression - hell I felt like a cyborg on it.

to help ya out a bit:
take ALCar and L-Tyro (get Acetyl-l-Tyro by the way) with Liporexin - it contains both, thus you will simply be amplifying the dosage.

Take 5-HTP and L-Trypto an hour after your last meal and get your ass to sleep - these two won't compete for absorption, one a precursor the other is an amino.

Also Glucorell R lowers your blood glucose levels that's why you feel hungry. Try to allocate carbs to support your intensive activities (training) and then supplement on Glucorell R to help with disposal, but hunger...
As far insuling and 5-HTP/l-Trypto, that's exactly the reason why you're taking these exogenous aminos/precursors to serotonin - so you don't have to create an insulin spike to clear the plasma of smaller competing aminos.
Hope this helps!

First, definitelykarma to you :) see comments

You know it's always hard to tell. I would say the 5-HTP for sure (killed my binge eating) and the L-Tyrosine also. Not sure about the dostinex, but I get it cheap anyway and don't want to take chances with decreases Leptin levels (which cabergoline may stop from decreasing)

I am on a light cutter (test and eq). No progesterone or prolactin fear. Taking the Cabergoline to help maintain leptin levels and for it's dopaminic effect. Not sure if it works for me though, cause I did have insane cravings two months after taking the Dostinex (Only the 5-HTP got rid of these cravings.. but later I had to add the L-Tyrosine to the stack or else cravings began again)

The Liporexin is great. Can't hurt, but as I've had so far great (!!) success with L-Tyrosine at 10-12g a day. I do not think the few houndreds mg that the Liporexin contains will do much in my particular case (even though it's the more potent Acetyl version in the Liporexin). Regardless, I am taking 6 liporexins a day. One supplement I'm not sure is helping in my case is the ALCAR. Don't feel shedding more fat, but it's not I am on a light cutter (test and eq). No progesterone or prolactin fear. Taking the Cabergoline to help maintain leptin levels and for it's dopaminic effect. You mean the L-Tyrosine will not compete with the 5-HTP ? I've heard conflicting things about this issue.

Also Glucorell R lowers your blood glucose levels that's why you feel hungry. Try to allocate carbs to support your intensive activities (training) and then supplement on Glucorell R to help with disposal, but hunger...

I dont' see what the problem is; just cut down your 'empty stomach' times to about 2hrs tops. Not everything has to be exactly 3+hrs, that's overhyped

2) I know Insulin may be benerifical for taking along L-Tryptophan and tyrosine and 5-HTP as means to rinse off smaller molecularly speaking aminos and drive these important aminos pass the blood-brain barrier. It doesn't make sense to take high-gi carbs; look at it this way, insulin is beneficial for a lot of things, like muscle building but at the same time fat storage - so that's a double edge sword for you. Just because something is said to be good, it does not mean it will work with your particular diet.

Now WHEN THE HELL DO I HAVE TIME TO EAT?

eat every 2hrs, that should be easy enough
