Embarassing Moment

My wife and I made a journey off of the island today to one of the local metropolis. We hit all of the important stores...TJ Maxx, Bath and Body Works, Victoria Secrets, Vitamin World...stop for some Vietnamese food...

Well, on the way home...we stop at a quick stop to get a coke...I'm not paying attention...we are in the wife's car and I ran over the concrete barrier...THE CAR GETS STUCK on the concrete barrier. I put in reverse...put in drive...put it in reverse...put it in drive...cut the wheel every direction...cant get it off the concrete barrier.

Finally, I have to get out of the car and while she is giving it the gas...i have to lift the front end of the car off of the barrier. Everyone looking at me like I am idiot. But I got the front end of the car high enough to get it unstuck.

Pulled my back. What an ending to my day!!!!

I got a pretty good deal at vitamin world. It was the same price...just more grams per serving.

I didnt think I was going to be able to lift the front end. I was worried for a minute...

It completely slipped my mind. When we were coming by there...I was fighting traffic...and I absolutely forgot...the wife knew we were forgetting something.

Sorry to hear that - I did similar on a concrete barrier that divided the parking lot. A light snow had it somewhat hidden and it slipped my mind. Cutting accross the lot, I hit that sucker at about 30 MPH! Dummy me, trying to get the car to move afterward and it wouldn't budge at all. Got out and looked and the whole front wheel axel had been knocked off (front wheel drive). Boy did I feel like an idiot!!

LOL, my wife did that too. Had her license 2 days. she was able to drive right over it, but ripped the muffler off. Good thing the exhaust was rotten.
