Nothing is "secure" if they want it bad enough. I have a firm believe that there is always someone who can hack anything. But it is better to be a little more on the cautious side.

Well I`ve finally deleted 3000 e-mails from my account so I`m able to get new mail
However there is a 7,000 KB quota... there was 32,000kb quota when I`ve been using old version so I`m a litle bit upset

elite mail can eat out my asshole...... i can't get it to work on these university computers ever since they switched interfaces. and i can't adjust the settings on these computers because i lack administrator rights. so, in other words, i'm fucked out of all my email until i leave this university.

i have to make a new one...mine is messd up and havent worked for a long time(forgot my password LOL)....i went to make a new one and this thing poped up and said if i want to download some hushmail thing i forgot what i should do...do i download it? has you can see iam not too sharp with computers

Your quota is still 32 if you had a Platinum email account before the upgrade -- you should still have one. Were you Platinum before the upgrade?

Not really, I have already explained how hushmail security is a joke. You are better off going with yahoo, at least it's faster.

Explain how hushmail security is a joke, in details please. I'm very interested.
From my perspective, it's much safer to use hushmail over yahoo as anyone with a sniffer or IDS system can read my yahoo message without doing any sort of decryption whatsoever. If the IDS system is flagged to capture key words then the message can be caught, logged and flagged and a security admin will read the message. At least with hushmail encryption your sending encrypted traffic from your computer to the server. This way if anyone does capture it they have to go through the painstaking process of decrypting the message. Additionally, nothing will be flagged as the message is encrypted.

Are you saying that the encryption algorithm is a joke? If so, I'd like to run a test with you. I'll send an encrypted message and will capture the entire transaction with my sniffer. I'll then e-mail you the capture file, just let me know which format you want it in. Then you can decrypt the transaction and let us know what was in it. Again, no flame, I'm seriously interested in how you plan to decrypt the transaction.
