Eggs

How many medium eggs could one have day in, day out, without having to worry about cholestrol at the age of 17?

I just realized that these are very easy to make. I knew they were cheap, but I never liked the taste much. I always made them hard-boiled.

I ate two hours ago and have been cramming food all day (thus, not hungry) yet just downed 5 eggs and two slices of whole wheat bread. Scrambling eggs on bread with ketchup is amazing.

I don't plan to use them all the time, but assuming I did, how often and how many could I have at once without it being an issue?

There is little correlation between eggs consumption and blood cholesterol

i have 2-4 whole eggs and 5-7 whites (9 total) every morning,, and for some flavor i had a slice of american and noin fat cheese. i think you goin to be fine, its the good fat, even tho some is saturated

Ya I buy eggs whites and slam a tablespoon of fish or flax with water with my eggs. I would rather replace the fat from the egg with omega 3's.

If you are worried about cholesterol try getting some sources of soluable fiber into your diet. Supposed to block cholesterol from being absorbed by the intestines, but again the research points more to the fact that dietary cholesterol does not directly correlate to high cholesterol. Its more so your diet ratios overall, especially saturated fats.

You could just buy omega-3 eggs and have nothing to worry about. They are hens fed on flax seed as opposed to regular grains. Thats what I do.

They have more omega 3 than regular, but still isn't as good IMO as whites plus fish oil or flax. I am really strict about my dietary fat intakes though. My family has a history of bad cholesterol levels, but mine has been pretty amazing so far HDL 64 LDL 76
