Eggs, How long till they go bad.

I bought my normal 3 cartons of eggs this last saturday (June 1st), but for some reason a couple days I didn't eat them. The expiration date says sell by June 30th but I can't believe eggs would stay good this long? Can it be? Or should I throw them out and buy new ones? 78 cents a carton isn't going to break me, but I hate wasting food.

As long as you kept them refrigerated they are fine. As a matter of fact, if you leave them in their carton rather than placing them in those egg compartments in the fridge, they should be ok even a few days past the expiration date.

Yeah, i usually by eggs in bulk and have no problem w/ them going bad as long as their refridgerated
