Getting my good fats from other sources right now, but thanks for the reminder i need to get some whole eggs daily in.

Wolfman: Eat a shitload of good WHOLE food (screw weight gainers, just my opinion though) and train your ass off. Saw ur thread... sry no time to form a quality reply there yet time to get my 8 hours sleep (deff. minimum 8 hours sleep especially when bulking).

no time for a quality reply: you just summed my life up in one sentence... YIKES!

:lmao:

This week is pretty typical, sadly, up by 4:15am and in bed by 11:00pm... hmmmm... that's not gettin' me my 8 solid... no wonder i am a cranky cunt and a half...

:D

Sarge says a mouthload: eat whole food where ever possible. Its just BETTER.

Eggs are a terrific food. They increase testosterone production and more closely resemble a human protein than any other whole food source.

As for the cholesterol issue, it is sort of old news and has been debunked.

36drew: I agree - it has been proven false, but you wouldn't believe the amount of people I work with who think that I am setting myself up for a heart-attack. Yet they are the dumbass fuckers that get McDonalds drive-through for breakfast on the way to work.
For some reason, people think bodybuilding and eating eggs, meat, rice etc. is actually BAD for you - all those people who are content to stay AVERAGE.

Can't agree totally with Sarge on the dozen a day real eggs. I'm sure you get your levels checked and eating real whole food in its natural unmodified state is definately the way to go, but a dozen eggs or more, even when dispersed throughout the day, have more than a total of 75g fat - 25g being saturated and over 3000mg of cholesterol. Yes your body does produce the cholesterol it needs and can produce it all, but it also absorbs cholesterol you intake so even if you do not have a genetic predilection, this is still a large amount to be taking in. This in conjunction with the saturated fat intake does add up + other foods/fats throughout the day will make fat intake quite high which leads to high blood cholesterol levels.

When you're younger your body doesn't produce high levels so getting it checked will give a heads up if it's affecting you in an adverse way or not as time goes on.

Eggs not only taste great, but there are so many ways to enjoy them: poached, boiled, skirred-baked, deviled(my fav), good old fashioned scrambled and overeasy, etc.

One thing I do is I scramble or fry my eggs in 100% orgain extra virgin coconut oil instead of seed oils such as rape seed which are believed to be linked with health problems. Infact I only fry stuff in organic extra virgin cocnut oil

I generally don't do flax seed oil either. I just sprinkle ground flax seed on what I'm eating.

But no the cholesterol in eggs will do virtually nothing to your serum cholesterol

It MAY or MAY NOT affect your levels, but saturated fat from a dozen a day + other fat intake WILL affect your cholesterol.

In my opinion, egg is not harmful for human health. In fact it have many benefit for the healthy body,,,
it maintain the blood pressure,
it provide energy to the heart tissues,
it minimize cholesterol level,,,
