Egg-whites/Eggbeaters and cutting

If you are trying to cut out dairy in your diet, would it also be necessary to eliminate egg whites or eggbeaters?
 
I wouldn't consider it Dairy either.

If anything, maybe pre-poultry. ;)

When I think Dairy, I think lactose and cows.

Hell no....egg whites are a great protein source. Bodybuilders have been known to use egg whites during a strict pre-contest diet, usually they are only abandoned in the last few days before a bodybuilding contest due to their sodium content.
