Effectiveness of finasteride to combat DHT

Hello All!

I am enquiring if any of you guys have ever used finasteride (proscar) to limit the dreaded hair-loss. How effective would you rate it? Unfortunately I have enherited my Old Man's genes as regards the hair-line and am starting to thin out. Not too bad yet, but thinking of using finasteride to halt DHT. Is it effective and at what dose?

I use it at 2.5 mg a day. It takes a while but it has helped me. It definitely limits some hair loss during some of my heavier cycles.

Same places you would find finisteride; local or online pharmacies. Dutasteride trade name is avodart.

Finasteride worked wonders for me, on first cycle of D-bol, sust and primo i lost lotsa hair and panicked 'cause im not prone to MBP (nobody in my family has bad hair) so bros on this board told me about finastride and i got it (one year ago) and used it since then and even had one mild Test and EQ cycle done 2 months ago with minimal hair loss. i prescribe it to you to take at 1mg a day when not on cycle but when on test take 2.5 mgs.

Also do give dutasteride a try but its more expensive and harder to find. Also use minoxidil with 5%azelaic acid. That works wonders, and last but not least give Spironolactone cream a try.
