Ephedrine HCL has always been 'banned' in the sense that you cannot buy it over a 25mcg dose in Asthama Meds...

but they just announced a new ban on ephedra... the naturally occuring substance... which is sold in much higher doses....

Some Xtc tabs are cut with ephedrine. Gives it a bigger kick and allows them to get away with putting in less MDA/MDMA.

Look at the lab results on Dancesafe.org A large portion of the tabs are cut with Ephedrine and Caffeine.

maybe your referring to the chinese meth pills, but real ecstasy contains MDMA. Although "Herbal Ecstasy" has ephedrine in it, but I don't think the law cares for that too much.
