Okay I have a cable connection. This whole morning the connection keeps going down. The only way for me to get it back is to disconnect all the wires from the back of my cable modem and reconnect them. For some reason that lets it go back online. All the lights are lit on the modem but I can't search the web or use any internet related programs. How can I keep my connection up? This is fucking weird.

its a network traffic problem sounds like to me, most cable modems are run off a neighborhood pipeline and so when theres a problem or overuse in the area the only way to get bandwidth is by unplugging the cable modem, which resets it and thus gives u a fresh connection.

but im willing to guess its probably someone at the cable company making changes of some sort.
