Do you ever cry either watching a sad movie or just from pure emotions? You can post up , noone will make fun of u. I really think its pretty sweet and sexy.
ok at least i wont make fun of u.

I get watery eyed fairly easy but I never actually do the "cry heave" thing.

Forest gump, when he learns that Jenny has a kid and its his. He asks if the kid is like him, and Jenny says that he is wery smart. that scene tears me up

I wanted to go see the movie spanglish and he woudlnt go see it grrrrrrrr
and yeah smurfy i cried but i think i cried the hardest during the scene at the redlight on Bridges of Madison County
like a baby i cried
why is it easier for women to admit it??

Bridges of Madison County? Isnt that a gay movie? I never saw it. I lean more towards movies that will make me laugh. Crying just doesnt feel good to me. But oh man, did you see "life as a house" or something? omg i balled like jerseyart watching that one.

ok hammy and mr muscle, are u crying at this moment because you are exchanging harsh words? post up boys

Like DT said have gotten teary eyed on occassion.

Smurfy and I argued about this once. I say it's not a cry until you do the cry heave....watery eye doesn't count as a break down. ;)

I was watching I am Sam on a second date a few years back. Christ I had to go to my happy place and start planning my workout during parts of it or else they would have flowed LOL.

for a man it does
once hammy cried, but we had just gotten finished having sex and i think football was on and he was glad we were finished so he could finish watching his game

I cry. I set myself up for it, so when it hurts, its cry time. fuck it. But the rewards of those risks sometimes cause my heart to swell to burst my chest.

Better to risk the pain than never know extacy. No chit.

yeah until you have that huge knot in your pharynx that youre trying to fight against and it creeps up causing you to convulse, then youre not really crying LOL

Okay, THAT was a cry but I was just a kid then. :)

The only type of movies where I cry are the ones where there's a big battle scene and one group (who knows that they've already lost) fights and dies.

I usually laugh at the other type of sad movies. Yep, I've been boo'ed out of theaters before.

Me, I hate dogs so I laughed and laughed when Old Yeller died. I'm surprised that Pa didn't start kicking the dog after he shot him in the head. I remember telling that to the people I saw the movie with...and then I got kicked out of the party and had to go home. Fucking PETA jerks.

Did you cry during 9/11? Me, I laughed. Not at the deaths, but at the fact that alot in my office were crying about it. I was thinking...WTF? Like you give a shit about those people.

There are thousands that die each year in South Africa. Do you care for any of them? Did you shed a tear for even one?

There are thousands that die in the coutry that I came from due to starvation. Do you care for any of them? Did you shed a tear for even one?

On some level, I understand your position. But, I see it more as a manipulation tactic (the display of violence). And when I'm feeling manipulated, I always chuckle a bit.

Like at funerals when those who couldn't give a shit for the deceased cry the hardest.

So, on 9/11, I saw alot of co-workers cry their eyes out at the suffering of the people and at the collapse of the two towers. At first, I was worried because I knew someone who lived near, but when he called me back, I started laughing.

My position is, if the co-workers really cared, then they would do something other then waste tears on people that they don't even know. Out of all of them, I only considered ONE as the person who truly cared as he went down there to help out.

The rest forgot about it by the next morning and the incident was reduced to water cooler talk. Now, that's funny. Here's an incident that should galvanize Canadians and everyone in the free world being reduced to water cooler talk.

You don't find that funny?

Yeah, not many people will go to movies with me anymore.

Well I suppose that your right to an extent, Maybe because I saw all the pain and turmoil on TV and people suffering that made me so sad, I wont watch Jerrys kids on tv because those babies have cancer and are suffering, i guess turning the tv off and being blind to the fact that other ppl suffer is best......ohand i would donate to some of the childrens hospitals, except i dont have the money, i do however do the angel tree for children here so they at least have a small christmas no matter how small
I cried when the people died because I imagined how much pain and suffereing they went thru, burning to death and jumping off the buildings...these ppl didnt have a chance and they knew it....so yeah it sucks but i could look at it like u and chuckle a bit

youre entitled to your emotions..even though i dont understand them..i do agree with you as far as tragedies that occur around the world..i just dont see how you can chuckle at such things..i dont know anyone affected by the tsunami but i cant bring myself to laugh or even smile at it?? people out having a great time and ten all of a sudden its ended and families are torn apart for no reason

i read it i know you were making light of that..but i still dont understand..but youre prolly right how after time those tht werent as close to the siatuation as others have forgotten..these are the same people that dont understand what we need to do to defend ourselves..i dont wanna turn this into politics..we all deal with things in different ways

Fair enough.

Personally, I'm just tired of people saying that "they care" and how much we "need each other" and do all the things that they are supposed to do.

As I've said, if you (or anyone for that matter) really cared, you would do more then just say it.

"care"? i do care i lost many friends on 9-11 some close and other were faces that i saw everyday and would nod and say hello..

your post is a little selfish in that I cant take on every concern in the world..i dont know where you are from and where this starvation happened but dont take it out on me because i didint do anything or that i dont care..

If you're personally affected by the situation, then my position is slightly different. In 9/11, you were personally affected. My co-workers and I weren't. Thus, I would harp on them for speaking about it but not doing anymore. Given that you were affected, I won't harp on you.

No worries. I don't expect for you to give one thought about the deaths elsewhere in the world. That's not meant to be a negative comment. A person can only focus on so much.

you should have been on long island after 9/11.
we couldn't help- they had more helpers than they needed and we were all still very scared of another attack. you could see the smoke from my house- fighter jets were flying over head constantly. my kids, as well as most others were scared as hell. they had classmates who's parents bodies were never found. the town i grew up in lost 30 people- including my dad's next door neighbor- a 32 year old mother of three who's torso was found and nothing else. A boy i went to high school with was on the floor that got hit. a good friend of mine was the police leutenant for the trade center at the time... his wife couldn't get in touch with him for hours and had no idea if her mother, who worked in the basement of the trade center was ok.
this state, and the country will never be the same- we can care without having to do anything immediate, but we're all doing something in the fact that we've all changed and the fact that lives were wasted for absolutely nothing is tragic and shouldn't be laughed at.

Funny, I just logged in and saw this. Yes, I am very emotional in that way. I cry all the time when something touches me. (Not, boo hoo like a puss) Tears will just roll down my cheeks. Sometimes it comes without warning, like just seeing a small child with their mother and how happy they are.

Also, I wouldn't say that lives were wasted for nothing.

i agree , a man that boo hoos and stuff is not good but a man that is not afraid to show his emotions is ok in my book

Wasted, in my book, would mean that there was no consequence.

In this case, there was consequence.

Mind you, it hasn't quite reached OBL yet. I'm curious if it ever will.

i dont cry very easily at all.

i could watch a really sad movie, or something really bad could happen, and i dont think i'd cry.

its not that I dont want to look unmanly, its just that I'm an emotionless creature I guess.

The one movie scene tha gets me every time I see it is in The Patriot. When Mel is leaving the camp again and his little girl who wouldn't speak to him yells, " Papa don't go I'll say anything"

Gets me everytime and I don't even have kids. I would be a wreck if my little girl did something like that.
