I like a guy who is in shape & carries his weight well. I guess that's the sum of it all. If they are just normally veiny, then it depends on what that look means to them - if they are all about the look and spend more time primping, then its no fun. If they just have incredible bodies & enjoy being in shape - Awesome! If they are in contest prep, they won' talways be looking like that or be that anal about the maintenance. Just need to be able to deal w/ that lifestyle duuring the prep - or join them in the prep.
