Hey Eddy what I know U know cars pretty well.
Which would U rather drive the new GLK, or the X3?
I know U are a beemer guy, but my father.... whom I'm helping out in trying to find the best deal, is looking at the GLK. All the dealers I talked too, the reasons the GLK was better were pretty fucking weak.
Do U have an opinion on this.

I like the GLK better--looks more substantial than the X3---which I think looks like a toy.
BUT Mercedes has a bad rep for the first year of production--I saw a friends M class on the back of the wrecker more than I saw it on the road back in 1998.

yea, back to me, these commercials suck--I guess complaining makes me a bigger dork---but i do wonder how many peeps bought Mini Coopers after watching this movie...
See, I'm poor I just got a crv, which I love, but dad's ml 350 had transmission problems, great ride, but a bunch of little things that had to be fixed, which added up. He is trading in that x3, and I agree, I never liked it. And getting the GLK, I wished they would have made an AMG package however, they do not.
Anyway, that does give me some comfort.

I just saw the movie Red belt, from david Mamet, he did Glen gary, Ronin, and many more films. U might enjoy it. I highly recommend it. Your Idealistic, yet pragmatic style I think would have some issues with it, but just enough to get U intrigued.
