Economics Project.

I need to start find a company/industry to do this project on that I will be able to find tons of info on.

Here is the scenerio: Your supervisor has asked you to write a report on whether they should purchase a company or division of a specific company. The meat of the paper will be a structure-conduct-performance analysis of the industry that the company was chosen competes in.

I cannot do any of these company/industries:

agriculture
petroleum
cigarettes
beer
automobiles
computer
motion picture entertainment
airlines
commercial banking
health care
telecommunications
college sports

The first part of the project due is: Name of Company, Name of Industry, list of leading competitors, comapny and industry sales growth (10 yrs), Market Shares.

I don't know why I listed all this actually My goal was just to hear some opinions on a company that I would have tons of info on but still not to difficult to weed out important information that would be needed.

I was thinking of doing The sneaker industry and chosing Puma as my company.
