economics people...where can I find

flex123

New member
is there a site that I could get the Market share and the 10 year growth of a company and an industry?

Or do I need to find the numbers and calculate this myself?

Any input would be great.

thanks

Also check out us govt resources like the Beureau of Labor Statics and the General Accounting Office.

(they're expensive but damn are they good)

Check out the SEC Flex123 for the 10q and 10k reports.

They'll have the sales figures in the statements.

well the furthest I could go back was to 1995. So the 7 year sales growth is 15.84%
95 sales: 52,199,000
02 sales: 826.8 million
now I need to get the idustry sales for 95 and 02

To get the market share I just do the sales to the industry total in sales, correct?

My best guess would to just call up the company, and ask someone there, I remember when I was dealing with stocks in economics class that companies would print out booklets to give to potential investors.

Yeah you can request the info, but obviously that isn't too convenient. Check out forbes.com. They have pretty good general info like you need on companies.
