ECA and Asthma

My friend asked me a question regarding ECA and an Inhalor for asthma as he has recently been suffering from breathing troubles and the docs reckon he has asthma
anyway my friend would like to know if he can carry on using ECA
He's 25 so he's old enough to use ECA
