Eating peanuts on a cutting diet?

Does anyone else eat peanuts on their cutting diet (low carb)? If so, how has that affected your fat loss?

my trainer told me not to eat them when cutting

Fallacious logic ----> Appeal to authority.... :D

In any event, I eat plenty of natural peanut butter while cutting and have never found it to be a hinderance to keeping my bodyfat % down....

...but then again - AS ALWAYS - everyone's metabolism is different, blah, blah, blah....

Experiment and see what works for you. But definitely avoid salted nuts...

I eat 1 serving a day.. Good source of fat, low carbs.. But very easy to over eat on them also, make sure your only taking in a serving or 2 a day. It is really easy to sit there and take in about 4 or 5 servings throughout the day if you snack on them throughout the day.

I'd say the only negative for dieting regarding peanuts is the fact that they're loaded with calories. Same with most nuts for that matter. but in moderation they're not too bad, try some NATURAL peanut butter. not the fake shit.

and here i am snacking on honey roasteds right now, without checking the nutritag.
Let's see... 1/4 cup = 1 serving. WHAT??? that's hardly more than a handful. 246 calories, 10g protein. I had half a bottle studying one evening = 400g = 10 servings = 2460 calories.
Damn that's a lot. *munch munch*. Mm, last one.
