eating in order

Do any of you guys actually eat the carbs you have with a meal before the prot. And i mean all the rice before attacking the chicken :P

I remember reading somewhere that this is benificial. Dont ask me for a link cause i dont remember where, and why :p

Never heard of eating carbs then protein, but I have read stuff about doing it the other way around. Supposedly, if you eat your protein and fat first it will lower your insulin response to the carbs. I don't think this has a significant effect in real life, but I usually do it anyway. Can't hurt.

i dont know about carbs before protein, but ive read that its benefical to eat raw foods first..then the reats of your meal. ie uncooked food first eg salad/raw veg then meal. It is meant to be better for your digestive system

that makes no sense
If you're referring to my post, then you are mistaken. Protein stimulates glucagon production. Two effects of glucagon are that it causes the release of stored carbs from the liver, causing a greater feeling of satiety. This makes it less likely one will overeat carbs. Additionally, glucagon reduces insulin secretion. Again, I don't think "eating in order" has that significant of a "real world" effect however.

and why would it not make sense?

Juts like protein stimulates glucagon. Carbs stimulates insuline production.
So that when the prot is eaten you will have higher insuline levels to shuttle the proteine to your muscles. Although like i said i have no idea if this is true or that this is what i read.
I just remember somethinga bout it from the time that i wasnt really into bb-ing and knew nothing about diet.

it is a pretty old theory
it was believed that you should eat X before Y
and not X and Z at the same meal...

but we now know for sure that it is BS
