...and I actually seem to have lost a little body fat. Due to my arm still recovering, and being unable to workout (it has now been 16 days since I touched a weight due to getting food posioning just before getting my abcess) I have lost some lbm, and can expect to lose more. However the only place that looks noticable smaller are my triceps and quads, and of course the bicep that had over a pint of puss drained from it the other day.

As in previous posts, no synthol jokes, because 1) I'm too doped up on pain meds to comprehend the jokes on most of the threads I read right now, 2) I have not injected any steroids into my biceps for a couple months prior to developing the abcess, 3) my doctor feels that the abcess and cellulosis in my skin on my lower bicep was due to shaving it with a used razor that had built up staff bacteria on the blade while sitting on the edge of teh bathtub.

Right now, I'm not playing with the low carb diets I normally due, however I am eating a very clean, deit with moderate carbs that are all low GI (against most bodybuilders eat a lot of shit that they believe to be low GI, that actually isn't ei brown rice, fruits, sweet potatoes etc).

My carbs are from organic rolled oats and barley, black beans, and plain full-fat yogurt (which I eat a ton of). Due to my apetite being low I'm taking in 3500-4000 calories a day (I sometimes go this low just before a contest), which is near starvation for me when I'm training. Its roughly 35-40% fat, 30-35% carbs, 20-25% protien. Normally I would recomend a bit more protien on calories this low, however with 30+% of my calories in the form of carbs, eating 300+ grams of protien a day does not really make sense (remember I study nutritional science in college, and do not read shitty bodybuilding magazines).

In any event, I'm losing body fat on a relatively high daily carb intake for me and no physical activity. This is probably due to the fact that all of my meals, once prepaired, have nothing with a GI over 30-35, and my intake of EFA's is very high.

God I'm depressed. I just want to work out again...but it will be 2-3 more weeks before my doctor said I can work out, even though my arm is not in the process of healing, and the doc was very happy with it yesterday. I have to go back tomarrow to have the packing changed again, or possible removed completely.

when you get back in the gym you will most likely experience the best growing period of your life. agree with me or not. your body will love getting the time off that it gets. i myself had 2 months of no training last year because of an injury. and i ended up in the best shape of my life 2 months after i started training again.

Hope you are right bro. When i get back, I am determined to regain everything I've lost, add some more size and step on stage this summer. I'm not going to let this hold me back, but at the same time, I know if I am not completely healed when I start training again, it will slow down my progress and I would be worse off than if I had just waited longer.

Its just starting to get to me. I can't do much of anything, and I can't drive on the pain meds, so I have to wait for Anna or someone else to drive me whenever I want to go to the store or something.

yeah it sucks, but you just have to look at it as a vacation.

it was my ancle that suddelny started swelling up and was tender as hell. i went to the doc, they gave me some pain meds and said it was gonne heal itself..i didnt. so they sent me off to all kinda blood work tests, then x-ray and some other picture stuff. but didnt come up with anything. so after two months of not being able to walk, it slowly went away. to this day i dont know what it was.
