Guys,

I am a college student and haven't had time to cook all day. I was searching for a cheap, convenient way to eat, and I found it!

No, not MRPs ... I can't afford too many of those.

CHANKO!

I cook up a bag of brown rice (20 servings).

And put it in the fridge, bought a lot of canned corn, and cans of tuna.

Here is how you make it.

1 C of cooked brown rice.
1 C of corn (half can)
1/2 to 1 Can of tuna

Microwave for 90 secnds.

28 G protein-plenty of complex carbs (brown rice)-just a little fat.

You can throw in a small protein shake if you need more protein for that meal. Its great-add terriaki sauce to flavor.

Very convenient and easy to eat to get those 6 meals in and all the protein you need for the day. Wanted to pass this along to everyone else ...

Theres a ton of things you can throw together to make a simple and efficient high protein meal, however - as this one shows, making it taste good is another story. Not everyone is a competitive bodybuilder, and the only way I could eat like that was if I was getting paid to look good. IMHO, that is nasty. I could prly choke it down once in awhile, but to enjoy that - your crazy bud :D
 
I bet that would be good. Tuna and corn is good. Tuna and peas is even better though. Mix some peas that ahve been warmed up and it's the shit. Kinda like tuna casserole
 
funny how some guys have their parents pay for college and own computers,but cant buy a freakin jug of $25 protein
 
Try eating protein shakes all day hijo ... you should use different sources of protien too.

2 Whey servings 6 times a day is tedious ...

haha.that does sound nasty to me but hey...whatever works for ya!good idea though....ive been whippin up weird high/calorie meals to bulk myself....most of them are tasty too!:mix:

Me too, I can force myself to eat some nasty shit, but tuna is out of the question. Even when I eat it, I end up throwing up from the smell of it.

i don't think tuna is all that bad. i don't think it's the best thing either. yesterday i needed to eat something and i didn't have much and i was lazy, so i just opened up a can of tuna, ate the thing plain.

i eat three tins of tuna a day

right out of the can, and i like it!!!! no problem, excellent 90 gs of high quality low fat protien, low in cholesterol and loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, good stuff:)

Corn is in your shit b/c your body cannot completely digest all of the fiber it contains.

If you are looking for cheap protein in the form of chicken/beef, one of the cheapest and most scandalous ways of getting it is to go to one of those buffets that has all you can eat steak & chicken (Coyote Canyon, Golden Corral, Sirloin Stockade, etc.) and make sure you wear a jacket. Then just load a big ziploc with enough steak/chicken for the week. Its totally low-class and crazy but if you are poor and desperate, paying $8 for a week of meat is pretty pimp.
 
Flex says the recommendations on tuna are wrong. A can has almost 40 g protein in it and its not the 2.5 servings as posted ...
