So, this is my first journal here, as well as my first 5x5 program...
I've been here for a couple of months now and finally starting this Journal...
A little info: The name's Matt, and ive been lifting since i was about 14(school, home, etc..)--now 18, and am now completely devoted since around 5 months ago....back in the summer of 04' I was roughtly 215, about 20 lbs overweight (lets say stockie), and in the struggle to lose that weight--which i did incorrectly--i lost most of my muscle mass... ending up at ~165lbs~. Given this weight loss was over a period of a year, I didnt look stockie anymore--moreso skiny... At 6' 168...now, around march of 05' i started back into the gym and little by little got more to where i wanted to be...
2006 rolls around and i decide to get more serious... by April, i am in the gym 3-4 times a week, starting to eat a little better and make myself more knowledgable about everything....
My Birthday came up (May 27th) turned 18 and was around 170...
By the middle of june I was in the gym everyday, Training correctly, eating alot healthier than I was at the beginning of 06'...
Staying steadily at 172...
With the help of alot of time on this board and in the gym, along with eating clean to gain, I bumped it up to a pretty hard 180 and im loving it...
Actually in the process of studying for my PT license...
Ok well to start the thread off right...
MY STATS:
Age=18
Weight=180
Height= Knocking on 6'1"
My diet consists of everything good, clean as shit... starting today;
Past few weeks its been about 3500-4500 cals a day pretty damn clean
NOW- Aiming for 4800-5200 cals clean a day... its hard with school and work, but im making it happen..
The Supplements im taking currently consist of:
Vitamins
Fish oil
Glucorell
Sesapure
amp02
purecee (pre only)
Vitargo CGL
Puremcc
ON Pro Complex Gainer protein (1 tub x week)
L-Glutamine Powder
BCAA Powder
Green tea
Vit C
T-rex (when i have it)
and of course FOOD and lots of it!
Ill post Pics later on in the day...Trying to get my BF% tested but ill let you guys be the judge for now...
and my Day 1-Week 1 workout will be posted as well--here in a bit
