What does your early morning schedule look like? Do you eat first? What time do you have to be at work??? I'm thinking of making the switch and want to get my schedule down pat! Much thanks!
I used to workout pretty damn early couple years ago. I'd get up at 5am and jog to the gym which was only about 1 mile away and get their by about 5:30am. Workout for an hour and stop at the local mini-mart to grab a banana milk drink and drink it while walking home. I made just as good progress as at any other time working out early in the morning, but I still prefer training later at night at around 6-8pm because I can take my time.
I was thnking of waking up at 5am, slamming a whey shake, training from 5:30-6:30am, slamming an MRP and then waiting till about 9am for my first balanced meal.....
Isnt it important to have your glycogen stores full before weight training? Ive read that you should have at least 1000 clean cals in your body before weight training when trying to gain mass. Whats you thoughts on that ?
very true, or I could just toss it in the blender, but digestion is what most concerns me....I want the blood flowing to my muscles, not trying to digest food! I wonder how glucose/whey would be.............
i train in the am on an empty stomach, i just bring a sports drink with me in case things start to get a little dicey. and of course slam either a whey shake or some chicken breasts and egg whites post-workout
