OTC product that I bought is supposed to be squirted in your ear and remove the stuff. I`ve never used it before and willing to take a shot at it. Anyone ever do this? Does it work by dissoving the stuff or does it have to actually physically come out of the ear.
The liquid removers simply change the Ph balance of the wax and it flows out. You can save some money and do the same thing with a teaspoon of vinegar.
I have one of these. It works best with warm water. Due to some of my ear problems, I've used these most of my life. The doctors wanted me to keep my ears very clean.
Did it come with the warm water rinse bulb squirt thingy ?
The drops soften up the wax and then you gotta rinse it out somehow..
I remember having this done by my Mom once using drops and then this syringe thingy that squirted liquid under pressure into my ear.
When the wax plug came loose if was like uuggg.. relief.

I should probably keep this to myself but one time I dug a ball of wax out of my ear and it was easily the size of an eraser on a new pencil. It scared me.....I wanted to keep it in a jar.

#1,2 AND 3, I will never do ANYTHING again having to do with burning... and my face, neck or body.
Also, I bought the bottle already. It`s just a small dropper of liquid and says you gotta lay on your side and drop a few in the ear. That`s all it says really. Does`nt say HOW the stuff comes out. Does it have to be "pulled" out left alone...etc.?
I guess what you`re saying "flows out" is the answer, but if you`re on your side, What will it erupt like Mount St. Helen? lol
About 8 years ago a doctor took a whole bunch of wax out my my ears (I know, gross) and it was awesome, my hearing was so much better after that. He use a pointy instrument, no chemicals or anything. I went back 2 years later for him to do it again and the amount was very small, not even worth going. So now 6 years later Im gonna try it again with this thing to see what happens.

The ones the doc took out were the size of jelly beans. lol Big jelly beans.
Y_Lifter, this bottle has a dropper but only for dropping the liquid. I saw the other ones you mentioed but I figured this would be better than fishing for stuff if that`s all they offered with the roduct, it would be all I needed. I hope.
I`m sorry for repaeating the same question over and over, but how does the actuall wax come out of the ear after that? It just oozes out or do you have to pick it out or whatever?
It`s not like a decongestant and you blow your nose afterwards. Although I`ve seen people blow their ears.

Just get a rubber squeeze bulb specifically for said purposes..... Fill up your sink with lukewarm water & fill up the bulb with said water.... Make sure there is NO air in the bulb..... Tilt your head to the side over the sink & squeeze the bulb so the water shoots into your ear...... the water & ear wax should pour out into the sink....
