E-mail Scam Alert~~~~~

I received a email from a bank saying that there is an unclaimed fund of such and such monies.

And the family has died and I'm suppose to be the next of kin.

Has anyone else received this email


I call BS!! How do they know who I am?

They never come looking for you in those instances...they are hoping that you never find out, because they get to keep unclaimed money after a certain amount of time has passed (albeit a long time).

Cause some poor person is going to fall for this;

And send their bank account number to them.

hate to say it,but it has already happened, in the paper here last few weeks ago a elderly lady got scammed, apparently this has been going on for almost 10 yrs now according to the newspaper, being the location(Nigaria) its not being enforced.

Only takes one in about a quarter-million to make it pay, unfortunately... which means email for the quarter-million gets carpet bombed by scammers trying to find that one precious idiot.

Which means that anyone stupid enough to fall for this needs to be taken out of the gene pool.
