And there have been many studies - more recent than the ones I cut and pasted. Just stick in environment estrogens in Google search engine (I think www.debriefing.com and www.google.com are the two best search engines)... there is loads going on - as you would expect when man has lost 40% of his sperm in 40 years...

Anyway, while we're on the subject of Xenoestrogens has anyone heard much about DIM? I was in the healthfood store the other day and the owner was going on enthusiastically about it, saying that it will convert those carcinogenic estrogens (those that contribute to breast and prostate cancer) into non-carcinogenic estrogens. He really wanted me to buy some, to take with my androstenedione so that the estrogen that the andro produces is converted into the good type of estrogen - one that is more easily metabolized and excreted. That did sound like a good idea to me.

DIM is a substance found in cruciferous veggies like broccoli. Anyway, I didn't buy it because it was really expensive, and I wanted to do further research.

don't waste your money on androstendione or that DIM crap. if you haven't opened yet, take it back.

why do you think those substances are legal? and why wouldn't the science community be in an uproar about this DIM stuff if it really do what it says it does?

because they don't work.
