Do you guys think these are the way to go?? I don't need any hi end stuff..just something that will work...any pro's and con's??

I wouldn't bother, VHS is going to die out in the next few years, so if there is something you want to keep that you know isn't going to get tranlated to DVD or BVD (blue) then skip it.

VHS is here for at least 4 years in my opinion.

Will be strong until recordable DVD players are available. That work. I keep getting email offers from companies that say my computer can record on DVD.

Yeah right. Computers............= the end of the world because nothing works anymore.

I have a GoVideo player. It has both dvd/vhs capabilities. We now have four dvd players in our house and use those more than the vhs. It's nice to have dual player though when you want to watch a video though.

availability of videos...

I always laughed as a child when I heard my friends arguing about which computer or game system was more powerful... when, in fact, it was the available software that made all the difference...

That is why i fail to understand why anyone would buy a mac... okay so the processors are more efficient, bfd....

moral is: content trumps....
