In some jurisdictions oral contracts are binding if the other person reasonably relied on the other persons promise.
I didn't watch the vid because my baby is sleeping but say a girl tells a guy they are going to get married, he spends a ton of dough on stuff, and then she changes her mind, I feel it is just to force her to pay (and vice versa if the roles are reversed).
IMO, no. Like the guy said, these are the risks you take when you fall in love. She made the decision to give up her job. She could have moved to GA and gotten a job there. I agree this is frivolous.
Law wise I don't know. My opinion... if she returns and gets her old job back, no monies. Out of that job permanently, yes I think she should be compensated in some way.

Of course this is assuming they've met prior and it wasn't one of those on-line relationships where the girl uses 15 year old touched up photos to snag a man.
I didn't watch the entire vid clip as I gotta jet...

She did get a job in Georgia, 31k a year...her previous self-described "dream job" in Florida paid 81k a year. I wonder how that would be adjusted for cost of living? I mean if she was living in rural Georgia and previously lived in Miami it ain't as big a pay cut as it would seem.
Anywho, the 150k is probably cheaper than the divorce would have been.
