Dui?

I had recently gotten a DUI that my lawyer told me i had to plea to dui minimons.There was also ghb found in the car. The case was split to 2 diferent judges and my ghb case was thrown out but i still had the dui case.My lawyer told my that because they found the ghb that i would never win the dui case, that is why i took the plea.My question is would they be able to use the findinding of ghb as evidince even if it was thrown out of the other case? Also if they never found any ghb would that have meant i would have won the case even if they found it in my piss test? Btw I live in Florida.
