DUI drug test

I posted this in the Elite Law forum and got a few responses, but wanted to see if anyone had experience with this.

Does anyone know if the cops test the urine for gear if they charge you with DUI?

why would you submit to a Breathalyzer??

but since you are saying urine, are you in a state where they can force ably take a sample ??

also, in a search of any kind, they must say what they are searching for..

example, they can't just search your house for anything that might be stolen, just like they can't go on a fishing trip to see if there might be anything in your system that is illegal.

unless you were in a car accident where someone died, then a judge can order it..

Good question.

had 3 drinks in 2.5 hours, got pulled over, cop smelled alcohol on breath, sabriety test, got charged with dui, taken to station, if refuse to take breatherlizer license taken away, took breathalizer blew just over half of allowable levels so cop suspected drugs, requested urine

No they do not,... The only thing they will do is test your blood for a controlled substance or alcohol concentration... If you are involved in a wreck and transported to the hospital then they can request blood..but remember they must have a reason to suspect a controlled substance... generally speaking it will be a breath test or blood test for alcohol

What's fucked up is I was taking my buddy's to a restraunt because they were all fucked up from drinking all day. I've asked the same question about testing and got the same response your getting. Everything should be fine.
