cardio 3 times a week for 10 - 15 minutes does anything to help burn fat or a waste of time????????
 
waste of time IMO. what the hell is 10 minutes going to do. i guess if u were going to the only thing i would do is sprints. however if i was trying to burn fat i would go atleast 30-45 min. a minimum of 4 times a week.
 
Cardio is always a good idea no matter what any bro on here says, unless you have bad joints. It excerises your heart, a muscle that everyone needs to be strong...ESPECIALLY steroid users.

but isnt 30 -45 gonna burn muscle too? would i want to wait until im done with the juice to shape and refine??????????
 
30-45 min 4 times a week won't burn muscle while your on a cycle, just make you sweat a little...unless you're paddling wide open(which you shouldn't be). Just good for your cardiovascular system when you'reon gear.
 
30 minutes 3 times a week for me......If I'm not dieting for a show it's light cardio on the treadmill or recombant bike......for a show it's higher intensity on the elliptical....
 
i didnt do any cardio thru a bulking cycle where i added about 20 lbs--it actually affected my every day living--my chest felt real heavy, could barely walk up hills, shit like that--and iv always been pretty athletic--cardio will just keep ur heart in check
 
My trainer tells me to do cardio 3 times a week for only 10 minutes because I am only 7% bf and he doesn't want me to lose muscle.
 
dont remember where i read this at but a study said something like 15-45 minutes a day helps keep muscle,not burn it away
 
Just my .02, but if your gonna put on some weight ie. 10 -20lbs if you don't do some kind of cardio your endurance will suffer.
 
I agree with 1Gilly-- during my previous bulk cycle, I didn't do any form of cardio, and man... i was OUT of shape and made me become a lazy bastard--- but I feel so much better just doing ANY form of cardio 2 or 4 times a week-- I usually aim for 30 minutes.
 
Try taking BCAA powder before your running.

If you want to avoid becoming catabolic, try taking some some BCAA powder. BCAA powder has amino acids that the body cannot produce on its own. It is also known for its anti-catabolic effects.

I would recommend 45 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week ( I do an hour 5-7 days a week). Cardio can become a lifestyle, I normally do my cardio at 6 AM, and now my day just doesnt go right if I dont run.

If you take a good dose of protein prior to 20-30 minutes prior to workout and do cardio you 15-30 minutes IME you dont lose muscle and do benefit from better endurance levels.
