Does anyone know if mushrooms can cause permanent changes in behaviour.
We all know of the potheads, but shrooms create a different experience. I wanna know if the paranoia & shit can be permanent.

Not permanent, no. However, it does open your eyes and make you more perceptive to whats in front of you.

Yes it can become permenat. Drugs cause a number of different chemical imbalances in the brains' chemistry and prolonged used can become permenat.

According to the amount of acid I have taken in my life (300+ hits) I am insane. Has it done permanant damange? I think so. I see purple tracers a lot, I think sometimes I'm emotionally stuck at 16 (when I started using drugs). Shrooms aren't as bad but I think will still do damage if used a lot. I feel if I did any more hallucinatory drugs my brain would pop and I would turn into that guy who thought he was made of water.

Friend of a friend's son has taken quite a few oover the years. Friends are afraid a recent paranoia attack & long time recuperating may be a sign of permanent damage.

Years of usage? Recent paranoia attack? Yeah, it sounds quite likely that the drugs have affected his brains. Unfortunately, they have those kind of effects, and if you are a frequent user, you're quite likely to get disturbances in your head.

Anything in excess is a bad idea. X is going to be be a problem down the road here, I think that stuff rots your brain big time and will cause long term problems. Shrooms on the other hand seem to have no long term effects.

You never know maing. I have done shrooms probably 30-50 times in a short span and it has caused no damage that I am aware of AT ALL. But for some people all it takes is once. I had this argument with crak a while ago, but in my experience, the people that get all fucked up from drugs in the long term are the ones that either use them as a crutch or are a little mentally weak before they took the drugs.

Not shroom but there was something a long time ago that took for a bit and it made me a friend of mine have memory lapse.... took a while to get it back.. can't say it was permanent.. but i can say made them a bit stupid for some time

i wouldn't think so, they have been used since the begining of time, I think that there would be some hard evidence on it by now if they did cause perminent damage, you can buy them in a few european countries so they can't be all that bad. But then again if the person already had some mental issues, then who knows?
