Drugs for Shred Guitar ?

I'll probably get flamed here for this. I'm sure I'd get flamed in the anabolics forum.

I play guitar. I'm into bodybuilding, but its just a hobby. You already know where I'm going so I'll just say it:

Are there any drugs, nootropic or otherwise, that could help me to play really really fast with machine-like precision?

That's really silly. Speed is a matter of technique, not stimulation.

practice working up and down scales at a speed you can handle. Similar to increasing weights you can lift each week, use a metronome (I think thats the name of the tempo keeping instrument - cant recall the exact name at the moment) and up the tempo you follow every week or two.

i can answer that...

i've been playing for 17 years.
can hang with the big boys.. satch and others.

speed is by far the best for shredding for like 8 hours straight.. just ask yingwie.

cocaine is decent too but doesnt have enough punch.

efedrine at 50-100mg will have a powerful kick too.

slam on some 9 gauge ernie's... lower the action... smokin!

My main instrument is bass, but since I played drums for 10 years before starting bass, they're a "main" instrument too. I wrote an article that appeared in Modern Drummer a few months back. (Can't remember the issue. Keith Moon on the cover).

I also play a piano, guitar, upright bass, fretless bass, harmonica, and I sing.

I own seven basses. (Ridiculous, I know...but I can't live without any of them even though I mostly use the Muscic Man for everything.)

Nelson, describe a little bit about the technique of playing the harmonica. I have one laying around I toy with every once in a while. Do you actually tounge the ports as you play?
