LOLOLOL crazy..... the best thing is the covered exhaust.. I burnt the hell out of my leg last year when I drove one for the weekend we took in on trade it was a 99... I forgot about the sidepipes and stepped out and it burned the SH9) out of my legPaul_Allen said:

i'll take the new nissan gt-r. the 2009/2010 version is going to be out of this world. nissan is pushing for top notch lambo/ferrari performance. nissan clearly wants to make it a super car without any doubts.

GTRs will dominate the road.
72k for something that will pretty much do away with whatever 6 figure car you wanna put beside it.
I was scarred that they would charge a shitload over the sticker for them when they first came out. Guess that means I will have to wait a few months for things to calm down and hopefully find a used one for the normal price

No one is even getting close to a GT-R for under 80k for the next two model years. The Atlanta dealers my brother has been talking to are apparently playing a bidding game with other qualified buyers because they have all thus far refused to quote a price, except to say it won't be less than 84k.

ZO6 is the closest thing you can get in terms of driving performance for the $$$, but is behind the GT-R in all aspects of acceleration, handling, traction, balance and precision. GT-R is a damn remarkable machine. I'd still prefer other cars over it because it isn't my style of car, but I'd definitely not complain having one.

Z06's are so cheesy inside. When I'm in my father's I often forget we're not driving a 93 Camaro RS.

Wow, what a great large pic of a GTR!!
I really can't understand someone not liking the looks of that. I mean, it may not snatch a head around quite as hard as an electric blue 360 or Gallerado would, but it damn sure looks nice to me.
I like the way Road n Track put it in their debut test article, "If it wasn't for the Nissan emblem, and the 72,000 price tag, the GTR might be considered the most exotic car in the world".
Although I think the thing looks great, looks have little to do with what is so great about this car. It is truly unique and unlike anything the automotive world has ever seen.
I hope that the majority of people who have the money to afford these instead opt for the Vettes and other more popular high performance cars, because that will make owning one even that much better.
I just always had a thing for the 90's generation of twin-turbo cars that were so far ahead of their time, and I think this car follows suit perfectly.
It's going to make me sick the first time I see one out on the road and realize that I don't yet have one
