Drinking / while on the sauce

Can anyone tell me just how bad it is for you to drink while your on the beans? I try not to but on the weekends it is hard to say no sometimes. anyone that has any knowledge on this would be appreciated. liver dammage?(ect)
 
Not a wise idea...If you're going to make the commitment to gear,have discipline while doing so.If you can't lay off the partying,then stay away from the gear.
 
i agree..... im not sure if it can hurt you, like your liver, kidneys, ect, but i do know that its a bunch of empty cals that just put fat on you and make you look like shit.... isnt that why your on gear, to look better??
 
empty cals, but still cals no? If your bulking and an ectomorph you would want as many cals as possible, so I don't see how it would be dentrimental to your gains. Though when your partying, you're usually not eating much or training...maybe it's just the secondary effects
 
whats wrong with drinking on a friday night...if u are on a cycle of 10 weeks....friday night buzzes arent gonna kill you i dont think..

Alchol in men gets stored immediately as belly fat, if stored at all, so in turns of calories taken in, they're "empty" because they don't do you any good. NOT to be included in your daily calorie intake calc.
 
I agree with Huck here. If you're gonna go for it, go for it. If not... then don't.

Would you say takin' a shot of heroin' once a week is okay on a cycle?

Does your diet change when on a cycle? It should.
 
I think that the problem is, like Audio said, that normaly when you go out partying your diet suffers and you end up burning calories from muscle mass. At least in my experience I have noticed that if I eat a big meal before going out, when I weight myself the next morning, I found no lost of weight. But, if I do not eat properly, I loose 2 or 3 pounds overnight. That's not good since it works against my goals. But then again, I have a life to live. I really try to limit my nights out without eating cause it's sad to see my hard work going down the drain.

I agree with Huck too. I don't drink on or off. My training partner will drink on Fri and Sat. regardless and drunk. Ever watch someone struggle through a chest workout with a hangover? Not that productive.
