Drawn Together 2/22/06

I don't know if anyone else on here watches this show, but Drawn Together on Comedy Central this past week took a shot at steroids, obviously not in a way anyone on here would like to see them portrayed. Anybody else see this?

I'm trying to find a torrent of the episode to post up right now. I have it recorded on my DVR box but its a huge file.

yea i saw that episode. everytime he would inject he would instantly get bigger, more zits would apear on his back, and his genital area would shrink. it was fucking dumb.

later they try to have an intervention because he is "addicted" to steroids and he ends up killing all of them.

I find it best not to watch any television in regards to AS. Lucky me, where I live, I don't have to

I find that hard to be upset about. It was funny, there is no way a show like that is going to change anybody's minds about AS even if they had potrayed them in a different light. The only way to really understand AS is to do some serious research on your own. So 99.95% of the population will only know what are told in 7th grade health class and what the occasionally hear about in the media. Frankly most people just don't care enough to look into it for themselves.

It seemed to be right on line with their portrayals of other subjects, I just always see people freaking out on here when steroids are portayed in a negative light. Then again, this was a cartoon so I hope nobody took it seriously/tried to draw some opinion from it. One funny part was when Captain Hero ran away after killing everyone, and ran off to a baseball stadium in the distance, then hit a home run all the way back to the house.
