Drawing with diff. needle?

Nutrient-Nut

New member
Do most of you that use injectables, draw the solution with a different needle than the one that you use for the injection? Is this just for sterility precaution or for some other reason?

(I've always used the same needle/syringe for drawing and injecting for that particular shot. Then of course I trash it and use a new one for the next shot. Never had any problems!)

if you use oils, you will love drawing with an 18 and shooting with a 25. much faster to fill but nice and slow on the way in. i prefer it, and it is cleaner i am sure. plus you don't blunt the pin on the bottom of the amp or vial...

Exacltly. That pretty much covers it brother. Rubber-stoppers will dull the shit out of a pin.

The only time I dont use a different pin to draw out is when I am low on them(they are illegal in my state), but I am taking a road trip and picking some up so that I dont have to deal with that issue anymore. Drawing with 18 and injecting with 23/25 is the way to go.

Damn, what state are they illegal in? That is just a stupid law. That's one reason junkies share needles and get AIDS. They ought to just let people buy needles for piss sake.

Anyway, what graffixx said is right. I hate a dull pin. If I have more than one thing to shoot, I draw it all up with one pin and then put a new pin on and shoot it.
