I have been out of town for a week and didn't have a chance to work out. Went to the gym yesturday and was doing chest. The front delt where it attaches to the collar bone started hurting and the higher I got in weight the worse it hurt. I didn't finish my bench work out because even lifting the weight of the rack start a sharp pain. Naturally, instead of leaving I did some mild incline and a few flys then did my tri work out. Not hard core just to get the blood going and muscles worked.
It has been bothering me for a couple of months and I thought I was just sleeping on it wrong. When I got home yesturday from the gym I could barely raise my arm to parralel to the ground and definately could not drive using that arm/shoulder. I put ice on it for a while when I got home. It feels alot better now.
So do you think it is a tendon or muscle issue?
How should I help it recover?
Thanks
