Double your Bench in 2 Months...

for an advanced lifter that wouldnt work, or even an intermediate. But a newbie weighing in at 135 whos never used freeweights before that routine would work ok i think, its not at all what i would set up, but it would still do ok i think (its not that hard to double a 115lb max bench lol). its designed to really hit the stablizers muscles and whatnot that most neglect when going after a big bench. back is a major part, and the close grip day with the stops , most use board presses, will help lock out strength and get the cns used to handling heavier weights.

if your a newb with a really shitty bench i say give it a shot.

I didnt read all of that (or much past the first part) but - train like you would for shirted benching, but bench without a shirt?

which reminds me, one lil doucherag and his PT at my old Bally would tie up the power rack to do endless sets of floor presses, DB swings, lockouts etc.. and in the 6 months he did that crap as far as I could tell his bench moved from 135 to 135. I think they both had been reading too much mens health
