Dostinex?

calveless wonder

New member
Can anyone describe it?
the ones i got are very small white bar shaped type pills. in a VERY tiny bottle...of 8.

just want to make sure its legit

Sounds like the Dostinex I have seen. The bottle is not only small but the screw on lid seemed larger than the bottle itself.

I think the lid had a desicant canister in it to keep the bottle extremely dry...

It rocks!

Bro.. you just described dostinex. My dostinex which I've purchased on buy-dostinex.com also have the letter P U (the initials of Parmacia & Upjon) on the little tablets. Always got it pretty fast and I'm already using my 4th bottle now.

Dostinex rocks. I tell you that!

junk what exactly do you take it for? do you take it on cycle, post cycle, or simply all the time?
i have the cabaser tabs 4mg, so i plan to break those up and take .5mg 2x per week.

cabaser is not as strong....you should be taking 2 mg's ( i believe) 2x a week.

i think .5 of dostinex = 2 mg's of cabaser

i don't think this is correct. they are both cabergoline and are manufactured by the same company. 1mg of Dostinex equals 1mg of Cabaser, just as 1mg of Proscar equals 1mg of Propecia (both finasteride). the pills may come in different dosages but the drug is the same mg for mg. Dostinex is prescribed for hyperprolactivism and Cabaser is prescribed for Parkinson's. they both increase your libido like a motherfucker.

Anakin: take 1mg twice a week for 4 weeks. you'll love it, trust me.

makes no sense...why is dostinex considerably more expensive then?

I take Dostinex (By Pharmacia & Upjohn) 0.5mg E3D or E4D for dieting, keeping leptin levels elevated, mood high and appetite supression a bit. I'm also taking it on Fina/Deca cycles.

Cabaser is cheaper because its made in Canada and they have some fucked up laws keeping drug prices down. But, it is the exact same thing, it's the active ingredient that counts.
Considering that the pills are 4mg, I have enough of it to last me for like a year straight.

damn...live and learn. i'll get those next time around

btw nadr...that proscar/propecia was a bad example because proscar is 5mg's and propecia is 1 mg and the dosage is the same. 1 pill ED

Someone posted a study saying that extremely low prolactin levels (i.e. when you take cabergoline or bromo) leads to lower testosterone because it reduces the effect of LH or something like that. That's my only concern.

that's only when you take it extremely high doses.........

i forgot the condition name bromo is used to treat but it's basically an overactive pituary gland. The bromo is used to lower GH levels and i guess incidently testerone levels. However the dosage for that is about 10x more than normal (20 mg's a day)...so i believe the same would apply to cabergoline

the example fits perfectly. proscar is 5mg of finasteride. propecia is 1mg of finasteride. you may take one pill a day of each but if you do you're taking 5 times the amount of finasteride when you take proscar. the difference is that proscar is prescribed for enlarged prostrate and propecia for hairloss. Merck charges more for propecia than proscar for one simple reason: because they can. most people who take propecia do not know that proscar exists. if they did they would buy it, take 1/4th of a pill ED and get the same results for a fraction of the cost.

didnt know that....k to you for educating me

This makes a lot of sense, because Cabaser is used to treat Parkinson's so a much higher dose is needed (Dostinex is used for prolactinomas I believe). That's why pill size is different.

i think i may have said this before, but i got my Cabaser in the 2mg tabs, not 4mg like Anakin. i got 20 of these 2mg tabs for less than the price of 8 .5mg Dostinex. pretty good deal.

i started on .5mg twice a week for 4 weeks, then took two weeks off and went 4 weeks at 1mg twice a week for another 4 weeks. got a little dizzy/lightheaded the second time around but nothing too bad, and my libido went out of control. i mean i started having major sex dreams and shit and that hasn't happened to me in years. what pissed me off, though, is that the wool i was pulling in my dreams was better than the wool i was pulling while awake. sucks, man. maybe i won't take it anymore.

:D :p

anyone here ever try dostinex and bromocriptine (separately of course)... I am wondering how they compare, as I have bromo but didn't see much for libido effects, but did get the lightheaded side effects.

I wonder if Vitex compares at all with either of these as well, as it is purported to be a prolactin inhibitor.

I’ve tried bromo on two separate occasions and both times I ended up throwing it in the garbage can. The first time, I thought that maybe it was related to other factors, so I gave it another try about 6 months later. Same thing! It made me nauseous, groggy, lightheaded and constipated. I tried taking it in the morning, at night, with food—I even tried lowering the daily dose, which is no easy feat with those tiny little tablets. I hate it and I’ll never use it again. Dostinex is wonderful. I get it from the same place Junk gets it from.
