Don't your Arm get in the way when you try to sleep?

Christ I'm having trouble adjusting to this, you big guys must go nuts at night. I can rest my head on my shoulder when I lay on my side or my back but any other position and it feels too strange. There's one downside to gaining 10lbs in a couple months.

Sometimes I stop breathing for hours because my chest is so huge. Thank goodness for my spanish weight attendant who continues to save me from the brink of death.

BIGGUPS TO ENRIQUE!

damn, funny you should mention something like this. I started sus about 3 weeks ago and over the last 2 weeks or so, my frickin arms fall asleep every damn night, sometimes just more than once. If i lay on my stomach with my arms under my pillow I will most assuredly wake up with 1 or both arms dead asleep. Feels like my limbs are dead. One night both fell asleep and I woke up and it took a good 10mins before they stopped tingling.

Dude trust me it wont go away either. Mine used to fall asleep only when i was on gear. Now its on or off all the time. And its actually a big problem i have been dealing with cause mine hurt bad!

it is due to nerves in joints getting pinched - reposition yourself and it will go away.
and yeah, I get it a lot. worst was on sust and deca.

Brother I have been struggling with this for a while. I finally decided to get 4 pillows. I put one under my head, one on top and two at each side of me. I rest my arms on the pillows and when I get tired of that, I put my arms over my head on the pillow resting on my forehead. It looks strange and it sucks when your woman tries to cuddle with you, but it works.

You've never had your arm fall asleep? wtf? It's when your arm goes completely numb and you cant move it at all. It's like the arm died. Happens to me when sleeping sometimes.

I thought it was due to lack of blood flow and the pain is the "waste" in your blood penetrating your nerves.

What's worse, waking up with your arm dead asleep or knowing the fact that you have to go though a lot of pain within 20 seconds :D

thank God, i thought i was the only person...i'm on sus and my arms fall asleep every night...i wake up to pee and i can't move cause my arms are all numb..takes like 15 sec to get back to normal but still sux..also i might be a freak too...but when i start to fall asleep my arm will spasm and if something is there i'll hit it..i've actually hit my alarm clock clear across the room one time...someone tell me if this happens to them

Count my vote too. I thought it was due to the lack of blood flow because of the loss of flexibility. Yes, it's worse when I put my arms under the pillow, face down. I'm just starting to make it thru the night without the problem, basically re-learning how to sleep on my back.

Then, there's the occasional pool of sweat....

These are the sides your friends that use don't tell you about!

I always thought it was from lack of blood flow too - b/c when you remedy the situation, it feels like it is filling back up or something, so it made sense.
then I read about it and they say that it is nerves that are getting pinched above where the sensation occurs. so if your arm is asleep, that means there is a nerve in your shoulder (more likely your armpit) that is getting pinched by your now larger muscles.

My shoulders are so big now that when I sleep with my head on my pillow with my arm under it, it hyper extends the shoulder joint down and makes my arm go numb.

I know the felling I'm only 5'6 210 lbs now 230 here I come, I'm kinda bulky big arms and wide shoulders the only way I can sleep is with pillows and face down and arms straight down by my side or these arms will go numb and they will not recoop for the next day of lifting, try laying with your arms down and see the difference in recooping and helping the circulation.

Only way you could get me to sleep with my arms by my side is if you hit me with a hammer and tied me up. I have this weird clostrophbic thing about having my arms by my sides when I sleep. Only other way I can sleep is with my arms straight out to each side like a cross but my wife gets pissed when they slap her in the face when shes sleepin.

I fucking hate waking up in the middle of the night with both arms dead. Usually only happens if I sleep on my stomach. It is hard to roll over and get up when you can't use either of your arms.

I used to have this problem too especially cos I don't like sleeping flat on my back or front so I lie on my side get an extra pillow and pull it into my chest and then roll over on to it so that I'm sort of lying at 45 degrees, the pillow is then taking most of my bodyweight allowing my arm more freedom - works for me!!!

Oh, I know this problem too. I am currently on Sust and
wake up every night, but not with numb arms, but numb
hands. My thumb hurts most. I have to get up and stand upright
for a minute, then it is ok and I can lie down again.
It happens exactly one time per night after around 3-4 hours
sleep.
I found out that the best position is when I am lying on the back, and the arms straight at the body's sides.
But ususally during sleep I change position and then it happens.
Shitty thing, waking up every night with numb hands. But
3-4 weeks after last injection it ususally disappears.
