Don't Buy Anything From Supplement Direct

I just got my order today from them 11lbs of dextrose & two bottles of yohimbine hcl. The deal on the yohimbine was buy 1 get 1 free, so I jumped all over it. I get the shit and it is 10months expired! It doesn't say anything about being expired on their website, and the dickhead didn't say anything about it when I ordered it. They said they would reimburse me if I sent it back, I would have to pay for shipping of course. Not to mention the guy was a total prick about it and said they just had the 10month expired product retested and it came back at full potency. What a bunch of shit!

This is just a warning to stay away from this company as they do not value their customers.

BTW, their dextrose label claims are still off by 35grams.

Sorry for the rant, just trying to keep everyone informed.

appreciate that.

i wish that more fair warnings like that would be posted.

i know personally how fuckin frustrating it is to have a bad experience ordering supplements online.

I believe they label it as 1/3 cup for 75gram dextrose, when it is actually 1/2 cup, they were supposed to fix this. That is BS about the expired product, they are just trying to dump it on unsuspecting people!

That could cause problems for insulin users... fuck Supplement direct.

i wouldn't buy from them normally, but they are the only ones that i know of that sell dextrose.

you can get it about anywhere that sells beermaking supplies...

google.com...

yep, a local brew store will be your best bet, probably around $1/lb if you buy enough.

This post is one of many I have read about people warning others of buying from suppliment direct. It has been posted several times!

Yep. I will say that going to a Beer supply store is the only way to go. There is a place where they will sell me 50lb sacks of Dextrose for about $1 a lb.

Right now I pay $1.25 a lb, and I fill my old Supplement Direct tubs.

I still use 1/3 cup or a little more. Seems to work very well for me. Lil K uses about 1/2 cup.

Peace

Not discounting your experience but I've bought protein powder and flax oil from them for about 4-5 years and have never had a problem. Good prices too. So they don't always suck.

Remember that just because an item has a date on it does not mean it's no good. Like milk from the store, it has a date that may mean "sell by" the milk itself will probably last a good week after that. It doesn't go bad on that date. Now I don't know specifically about the stability of dextrose but if it's powder wouldn't it last years?

I do think they should have handled it better and 10 months is a long time.

Brother I wasn't talking about milk and a day or two past expiration. I meant several months expired almost a year. Don't buy from these meat gazers.

If it has a date then i would imagine it is for good reason and should not have been shipped even 24 hours after it had expired. If a mistake has happened (and they do) then good customer service would mean an apology and new stock sent immedietly at the cost of the company selling. Unless leagal or health reasons the cutomer then should be requested by supplier to destroy out of date stock. If for leagal or health reasons it is required to be returned then that cost should be met by the suppliers whose original mistake it was.

As none of this was done then poor service which would deter me from using in the future.

No matter if product is still good then you can not sell if out of date.

Wrongun!
