Domestic UPS shipping delay???

Benjamin Armani

New member
Had a package shipped last friday via 2 day UPS (ups didnt pick up at the place it was shipped from on friday because if Easter) so it should have been picked up on Monday.
I have the tracking numbers and it still does not show to be tracking, I called UPS and they said it was not in there system.
Its a week and still NOTHING. No tracking, no package, nothing.
Do you think fed set up (wouldnt they make it look normal by not screwing with the tracking as that sets off red lights?) or do you think someone stole the package before UPS picked it up from the mailing depot?

Give me some imput bros, i am loosing my nerves on this one.

Just out of curiousity, bro, you are a platinum member, and when you become platinum, you automatically get 500 free posts credited to your post total. So that means since you first registered in January of 2003, this is YOUR ONE AND ONLY POST, about Feds.....so why did you first register in January, and wait almost FOUR MONTHS before making your very first post?

BTW, here is the answer to your question:

Only USPS packages are protected by federal law against unreasonable search and seizures, as per the 4th amendment. However, this Constitutional right is exempted when using the services of a private company, such as UPS or FEDEX. UPS has the right to open it's packages and make sure that everything is packaged correctly, since they are a private company that pays out millions of dollars a year in damages and lost packages. But EVEN IF they had no reason to open your package, they still could if they wanted to. Probably, something was leaking from the package, and a UPS employee opened it. When they saw what was inside, they notified law enforcement. In order to throw you off guard while they investigate you, they deleted all tracking
information regarding your order. I bet your package will mysteriously appear in a couple of weeks, as part of a controlled-delivery.

I am here all the time, i just post under another name.... trust me, i am no fed.

Wouldnt deleting the tracking info set off alarms with the receiver and just make it easier to hide/delete other incriminating evidence that would help them nail someone?
Also, if the package is just refused and sent back to the sender how is it possible to charge and make it stick?
Been in this game over 5 years, seen alot of things but never this.
Usually its tracked normally (unless like you said, its USPS, who need search warrants first) because they would like to catch you with as much as they can. Letting it sit a week does not make since.

Thanks for the help.

It would set off alarms even if the tracking information was left in tact. Because then you would know where the package is, and you would be able to call the place (or information center) responsible for the information regarding that package, and ask what's going on. So to avoid you calling anyplace that would normally be listed on the tracking information, they have just decided not to post anything. That way, there is no way for you to know where the package is located, nor do you have a phone number to call to find out what exactly the problem is. Basically, you are being kept blind.

Thats understandable.

What if the package shows and just sits there. No one goes to pick it up, just never go back to the place it was sent.
Then there is no "conspiracy" to pick it up right?
Can they just "come and get you" even though you never go to pick it up?
If that where the case then anybody could send anyone something and there screwed?

If you don't take possession of the package, let alone sign for it, they can't do jack shit to you. Don't ever sign for a package, unless your source told you to sign AHEAD OF TIME. If he says he sent the package NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED, and you are told to sign for it, SEND IT BACK! Usually, the source will just send out another order, instead of refunding the money.

Enough said bro, i will except the loss and just never go to the box... if they call, i know nothing about it. I will tell them to send it back... thanks so much for the advice.
Like i said, been here a long time, sometimes no matter what you have been through, advice and help from others seems to take the nerves down a notch.

We will see what happens i guess. You have been a big help.
