Domestic Steroid Arrest???

I found this on steroidlaw.com

<<As we all know, federal law enforcement authorities monitor the international and domestic mails. The Customs Mail Division inspects packages from outside the States and the Postal Inspector inspects domestic parcels. Suspicious packages can be opened and examined. Packages from "hot" areas like Thailand, Eastern Europe and Mexico are reportedly often targeted. Among domestic parcels, those from California and the Southwest to sites on the East Coast can reportedly attract attention.>>

Has anyone had problems with siezure of domestic good? or arrests?

I used to work at a post office and we were supposed to look out for "suspicious packages". They had descriptions of things to look for:

- wires were hanging out
- any kind of oil marks
- sloppy markings or writing
- if the weight of the box was not evenly distributed

The whole time I was there (about 2yrs) I don't ever recall a package being singled out. I believe as long as these sources would pack their shit in a professional matter things would be just fine.

But what about Customs though, don't they check the packages?
Although remember working for FDX customs guy would come over to the plane that just came from Canada, look over the doorway (airplane is full) and sign paperwork and let us download it. No and let me repeat NO PACKAGE WAS CHECKED!!! All the three years I have worked there, NO PACKAGE WAS CHECKED!!! But other countries like fucking RUssia, are pain in the ass. Tried to ship shit from there by FDX and bustards would want to check EVERY package. So, go figure...

my buddy had a controlled delivery and the package was sent from Laredo, Tx to Austin,Tx so just because its domestic it doesnt mean that you are scott free

his apt mgr called him to pick up a package and she said it doesnt have your name(bunk name) on it but since its to your addy i guess you can come get it, he picked it up and when he went back to his apt he wrote on it NO SUCH PERSON AT THIS ADDY and about 2 seconds later, he recieved a freindly knock on the door with 3 local and 2 fed lets put it this way he was popped but since his dad was a sheriff in Houston he received lenient charges

Even if you work for the post office and you're suspicious, you still can't open a box without a court order or warrant to permit it, and no court is gonna grant one just becaue "well, it looked weird yer honor!"

My local postmaster refers to this as "the sanctity of the seal" (sealed postal deliveries cannot be arbitrarily opened)
