Dog Appreciation Thread.

lol, we had some poodle-like dogs when i was a kid. they'd look like sheep after a long winter. they loved a good shavin'.

Yeah, they're very likeable and they mind much better than children. They just stink, make messes, break things and shed hair everywhere and you have to take care of them until they die. Dogs are dogs. I have much compassion for them, but I wish I weren't stuck taking care of these 2 dogs. I do my best for a person like me.

She had 2 dogs, one of them died because it was 17 years old. Use to have bowel movements all over my house. Poor thing. (Why I griped so much). She took the other one with her thank God. These 2 are my daughter's dogs and she is rarely here. So I'm stuck with them until I'm about 50 or so. They are very good watch dogs. I sleep easy at night. Rocky is a pit bull. Very good natured dog, but I'd hate to have those jaws clamp down on me.

I'm sure I can get you one from my neighbor. At any one time, she has about 14 of them running around. They always leave their paw prints all over my car.

There really aren't words to say how much I love my dog. He's my world. He's my little angel. He makes me laugh and he makes me excited to go home every day. He's 7 pounds of unconditional love. I can't wait until we get another one!

If you had to give up your husband or the dog, which would it be?
I know people that would say the spouse.

My spouse though I say it with hesitation and he probably would too. lol You should see us trying to leave the dog when we have to go anywhere. We'll be out at a club and he'll lean over and say "I wonder how Gizmo is, I miss him".

My sister is that way too. Guess it's just ya'lls nature. I have much compassion for animals, but when I love a woman.......nothing else compares. Except God. I wouldn't have the woman without God.

Me too. I miss having a dog. Because of my schedule, I can't have one. It would be unfair to the dog. When I'm done with school, I will definitely be getting one.
