Does Working Out Effect Natural Testosterone Levels?

I think common belief on this is that training increases your test. levels.
On the other hand I heard a report a while ago that said that athletes had testosterone rise during heavy squatting but after that had diminished testosterone for up to 6 days.
Or does training not effect test. at all?

Just wonderin what you guys think.

Body responds to "stress", test and gh levels and cortisol will rise after workout. Dont know by how much, but not by a lot. What's your point tho?

Supposedly working more than one group at once is the best way to do it, like squats, but I don't know how much it raises it. I believe that they said intensity can also up it. But I don't know this for a fact, just read it. Prolly on here

Here's what I've read (from a number of sources over time):

1) Resistance training does stimulate the release of GH and Testosterone
2) Shorter, more intense sessions (less than 2 hours) releases more
3) Longer, more aerobic sessions (i.e. marathons) destroys test levels
4) Immediately after training, get some protein and carbs in you to maximize the test spike. If you fast instead, the natural rise in test levels will be clipped and you won't get as much bang for the effort.
5) Overtraining, even on high-intensity exercises still destroys test
6) Lack of sleep and/or other physical & emotional stress can trash-out test levels
7) Strong sexual stimulation increases test levels. Some people even respond to "hotties" just being near and/or interacting with them.
8) Orgasms do not diminish test levels, and when coupled with strong sexual stimulation overall increase test levels significantly
9) Sunlight can increase test levels (and promote the free flow of endorphins and/or create a sense of well-being). It may be the well-being, feel good effect that helps test out in this case (I really dunno).

Thanks!

Compound exercises (squats, deads, cleans, and to a lesser degree rows and benches) are the best stimulators for muscular growth and the hormone releases associated with intense weight training.
