Does the Pentagon have plans to invade Canada

in the event that Global Warming turns out to be true?

It has a comparable land mass which presumably would become livable if temperatures started heating up, and no real standing military to stop us. Sure they have indians who would probably be willing to fight, but we have experience dealing with them. They might try to take us to the UN, but presumably they would be preoccupied keeping from drowning in NYC.
 
Canada has more friends that would come to her aid then the united states would ever hope to be aligned with ... do you even know what the british commonwealth is ?

Besides australia , and the UK , france would jump in in seconds flat ....

in reference to your presumption about global warming ... if it did happen why do you feel canada would not welcome you here ? Why do you have this invade and concour attitude .. do you feel everyone in the world hates americans or something .

I'm a peaceful guy. I have no desire to invade Canada.

But Dunkin Donuts has a powerful lobby in the US. Cheney and Haliburton both own a lot of stock in that company. And Tim Hortons has a strangelhold on the all important donut market in Canada.

It's all about the donuts.

lol....first of all we wouldn't invade Canada, but if we did, they would probably fall faster then the Pols in WWII. (kidding of course) As far as allies I don't think ppl realize how powerful our military is, in the first Gulf Iraq had the 4th largest military. They lasted really 3 days, but we were said and done with everything in 30. I think this was more or less a joke, but now ppl are pissed so I'll leave it at that.

If you're referring to Iraq, that had nothing to do with planes flying into your buildings and we quite rightly didn't believe the hyperbole being spread by the American government and chose not to participate.

If you're referring to Afghanistan, Canadian policy is generally to perform in the role of peacekeeping. That is NOT what we are doing in Afghanistan and thus should not be involved there. Unfortunately, our government has involved us.

If I'm not mistaken our Prime Retard, I mean Minister said no such thing. Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition, whose job it is to be contrary, voiced those sentiments.
Most of our citizenry want to do what we've always done. get the job done, in a profesional manner, & get our kids home.
About the dead soldiers. While Americans, however tragic, are used to hearing/reading/seeing news about KIA's, Canadians are not. This has been the first actual combat mission for Canadina Forces in quite some time. Our citizens are not used to hearing about our dead soldiers & about the most recent, the lady Artillery Capt.
We have had deaths in our peace keeping missions, but the news kept those reports on the back pages. We seem to only exalt our soldiers during actual war. In peace its, "Dogs & Soldiers keep off the grass".

FYI, we were involved in WW II before you, the Queen was not yet the Queen, & Churchill was not yet the British Prime Minister.
My Great Uncle was wounded in a tank on the drive to the Rhine, & My wife's Grandfather was wounded & taken prisoner at Dieppe, and put to labour until the end of the war.
I am offended.

They have more boys from home then imports ...

I'm a season ticket holder , last nights game was not good for there cause and it was a pretty quiet ride home on the transit system compared to other games .

Me thinks the cup is going to be held buy the 10 or so canadian boys who make up the core of the canes ...
 
I wouldn't be worried about an American invasion, because they'd probably end up going the wrong way and invade Mexico instead.

(Actually, that's pretty dumb because Mexico has pretty much invaded the US already. The US would end up invading Guatemala).
 
In all honesty, I would be surprised if they didn't have plans. It's their job to plan for things, no matter how fantastic.
No doubt they've already spent a good deal of time trying to decide how to overwhelm our formidable defenses.
