does the message mean my battery fail?

Hello,
my pc laptop says"Consider replacing your battery". Does it mean that the is a fauty one and fails? I check it, it can hold charge and the machine also can recognize the battery. Whether should i replace it? the battery is just 6 months old. I never use only the battery, I always plug in my charger..

on the other hand, I'm in need of some best places to buy replacement batteries. Any suggestions? ebay is out of my consideration because its poor quality and don't last me a decent time. My current battery is from ebay., any advice please let me know.

Just soak the battery overnight in a bowl of water that has 2-3 tablespoons of salt and 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda.

Stir it up really well before you put the battery in. Some people report using warm/hot water works even better.
